About the Author

Tonya Pomerantz is a middle-aged, menopausal woman who survived her 20s and, in her 40s, became invisible. Now she is speaking out.

As the founder of Puddle Jump Coaching, Tonya helped many young people figure out what (and who) they wanted to be when they grew up. Now, she focuses on being heard and supporting all women to find their voices. People describe Tonya as warm, caring, and inspiring.

Along with a B.A. in Sociology-Anthropology and a diploma in Public Relations (with Honours), Tonya has certificates in career development, coaching (International Coach Academy), and recently, Teaching and Training Adult Learners.

This book is a treasure I deeply wish I had in my 20s. Its author skillfully guides you on a transformative journey, helping you embrace and cherish your womanhood independent of societal expectations. With remarkable generosity, she imparts her invaluable wisdom, enabling readers to learn from her own past mistakes and fostering a sense of belonging. It felt as though Tonya had masterfully articulated the very thoughts that had resided within me. Without a doubt, this book is an absolute must-read.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE this book!!

I wish I could have read this book as a young woman growing up with self esteem issues. The author beautifully describes the passage of a girl becoming a woman with the challenges of loving ourselves as we are and choosing a partner that sees and accepts us as a whole person and not just a beautiful body.

As I read the pages, I also have a better appreciation for growing old and facing head on the health challenges that we as woman go through and how surrounding ourselves with a loving support system is a must. A must read!

What a great book. Have you ever felt like you don't belong? This book will make you feel like you do. From the very first page Tonya is warm and inviting letting people in on her past mistakes and funny moments to help the reader learn from her. She encompasses what every human desires, to feel understood and validated. Very easy read and will have you downloading some Springsteen.
