    This is a short novella but it is packed with a lot of emotion, great characters and a really good story line. Once I started it I could not put it down.

    Damien is a miner and he hears this man named Jasper Finch talking to an investor. He thinks Mr. Finch has "planted" gold in the mine so the investor would buy the mine. Damien's job is to find the gold. His guys are looking and working hard but so far have not found the vein.

    After things happen in the story Damien meets Violet. Check out the story I think you will enjoy it as much as I did

    This book is so good! Violet and Damien's story will keep you turning the pages to see what happens next. It's a sweet clean romance that has just enough drama, suspense and action to make it a great read.

    I so enjoyed this refreshing story, following Violet as she struggled to make ends meet, caring for her mother after her father’s death. Damien was ridden with guilt after leading his crew to their death in a mining accident five years earlier. But when he heard Violet sing, could it be the angel who cared for him following the accident? Were they destined to meet again? Could this be God’s plan for their future? The reader will be immersed in this delightful book!

    The concept of getting a reclusive man to come back to being around people again and interacting is interesting. The story line is good and love that there is a singing character. This story being stand alone is great since this is the first one I have read in the series and didn't have to worry about having any holes in the story line or anything.
