All that changes when she rings a bell and literally opens the gates of hell... oops. It's all for the best because if not for that momentary lapse of judgement, our drool worthy hero (Phoenix) wouldn't have escaped. Let me warn you, if you have children, some of these chapters should not be read in their company because they are HOT. Draw you a bubble bath and enjoy those chapters by yourself or with your parter. I made the mistake of reading them on my lunch break. It killed my but I had to shut that book fast! All in all, this is a great paranormal romance that will hook you from page one. The writing is exquisite, the characters flawed and relatable. My only complaint is that it ends on a cliffy and that I have to wait lord knows how long for the next installment, but I have no doubt in my mind that it'll be worth it. 5 fantastic stars for this one!
