"I just finished Willow's Walk, following Willow's foot steps through her life...that takes one on a journey through her mind as well as her life. You listen to her thoughts...you ghost her through her early childhood and early desires and strict upbringing. You see what dreams she wanted for her life when she was young and what direction it really takes her as she grows older, the loves she had and her despair...moving you to her present state of affairs in her adult life, filled with what I think is a spell-binding group of events which roller coaster you as if you were her eyes and ears, and if it hasn't taken you far enough in one direction...it takes you further with every line....you feel her stress, her helplessness, always with the question in your mind how could she endure any more? She is coastered to different situations...that keep you hanging on every word searching for relief. Beautiful book, wonderful read.. If you get the chance take some time and walk through Willows life with her and enjoy this intriguing story. 5 stars."

From the Author

It is my pleasure to bring my latest romantic fiction drama, Willow's Walk to the reading public. As you walk with Willow, it is my hope that you will relate to the many obstacles facing her, the reasoning behind them, and the ways in which she chooses to deal with them. The novel carries a very important message, one that many, even in today's Internet world, are not immunized from. This is sad, and realized more than one might think. Please enjoy this walk, and should you like, send your feedback to rusty-blackwood.com, or e-mail me at writerrusty@hotmail.ca. Reviews are worth their weight in helping others choose a title, so feel free to express your thoughts on the book's page, and I thank you.

Romantic fiction author Rusty Blackwood, who chose her nom de plume by combining the colour of her russet hair with her husband's great, great, Scottish grandmother's maiden name, was born in St.Thomas, Ontario, Canada on October 5th, and grew up on her paternal grandfather's farm in the County of Elgin, located in the south-western portion of the province of Ontario.

She acquired her love of literature while still in elementary school where she entered her original compositions into county fairs, school contests, and whatever venue allowed participants in the writing field. She has carried that love ever since, and has put it to use many times since becoming a professional writer in 2001.

From the time of youth she has loved the Arts in their many unique forms, and is a graduate with honors in Interior Decorating & Design. She spent many years on the south-western Ontario stage performing with her family's country music band: The Midnight Ramblers, followed by the country - rock - blues band: 'MIRAGE' as an accomplished vocalist, bassist, and rhythm guitarist.
